Well done to the Under 8 B1 team on their first foray to foreign shores. I'm sure that all will agree that 2 match victories and a total goal tally of 5 is mighty impressive. The weekends action got off to a shaky start with 2 defeats on Saturday followed by another 2 on Sunday morning. This season, this set of players have found the going tougher than last season when they won their league. With a smaller group of players than last season winning results were going to be that bit tougher! But this set of players have dug deep and week in week out they give a good account of themselves and enjoy wearing the strip and getting onto the pitch on a Saturday morning!! It won't be long before this set of players turn some narrow losses into positive results. Keep going lads!...

Another great preformance by the under 8's B1 team. First half they where playing against the wind. It looked as if the wind was not causing a problem. Ibrahim Plays the ball down to Ryan Farnan who skips by a player and plays it into the box Michael O Mahoney gives chase. Lorcan Quigg arrrives from midfield at pace and shouts at Michael to leave it. Lorcan shoots one nil. Ibrahim Ekky and Ryan Farnan are causing the defence problems down the left. Midfield of Michael, Lorcan and Ibrahim....

Great preformance from the under 8b1 in this morning game in st itas. First half was battled evenly untill approx 10 mins into the game when ibrahim ekky was fouled about 18 yards on the left hand side of the field up stepped jack darcy and hit it in top left hand cornor. St ita's hit straight back from the tip off 1-1 defence fell asleep. 2mins later st itas get a cornor inswinger and garylee clears the ball to ibrahin makes a run down the left plays lorcan through he attrachs players...
