Yet another fantastic performance from Clonee Utd U9C in the Qtr Final Vs Malahide today. On 2 occassions Clonee went behind (0-1, 1-2) but the Lads showed great determination and clawed their way back into the game. A great pass from Ian led to Seans first goal. This season, this set of players have found the going tougher than last season when they won their league. With a smaller group of players than last season winning results were going to be that bit tougher! But this set of players have dug deep and week in week out they give a good account of themselves and enjoy wearing the strip and getting onto the pitch on a Saturday morning!! Another great preformance by the under 8's B1 team. First half they where playing against the wind. It looked as if the wind was not causing a problem. Ibrahim Plays the ball down to Ryan Farnan who skips by a player and plays it into the box Michael O Mahoney gives chase. Great news. Clonee Utd U9C & U9D will be playing a match against each other at half time in the Bohs Vs St Pats game at Dalymount on the 14th March 2008. This should be a great occassion as Dalymount should be full to the rafters. The game will also be televised live.

Great preformance from the under 8b1 in this morning game in st itas. First half was battled evenly untill approx 10 mins into the game when ibrahim ekky was fouled about 18 yards on the left hand side of the field up stepped jack darcy and hit it in top left hand cornor. St ita's hit straight back from the tip off 1-1 defence fell asleep. 2mins later st itas get a cornor inswinger and garylee clears the ball to ibrahin makes a run down the left plays lorcan through he attrachs players...

Another great team performance from Clonee Utd U9C Today. In the first half Clonee had all the chances but Ballymun broke late in the half and scored against the run of play to take a 1- 0 lead. Clonee didnt panic and in the second half took the game by the scruff of the neck and scored 4 goals without reply. Goals by Sean Whelan (2), Patrick Cawley & Barry Coughlin.
